I'm not sure there's much room for improvement here. Almost every peaceful town looks like an actual settlement. The only notable exceptions are siege towns and "storage towns" you see around non-peaceful towns, but these are a minority. I feel like you wanted to be more specific. What do you mean by making "towns more townish" in the current context?

Well I ment alot of towns hardly look like towns anymore, (the big ones might but alot of smaller towns only have one house and alot of claimed land that doesn't have anything useful or attractive in it. And due to space being more and more difficult to come by in populated areas I feel like we should only give what is necessary. So if a town doesn't have a legit excuse for holding large amount of pointless land (a legit excuse would be for a fort), you should delete it in order to make room for more towns. This will push towns to grow as well as make acual buildings. Also another thing kinda related is towns are not towns. They are just houses for one or two active residents. U should find a way to reward towns that have high activity and other things like that. Thank you for responding.

ngl forts also should look like towns, have some little building or village inside, forts are just ugly asf, i cant find a single fort that actually looks good, including kiev, nishi (ew), vestfold, etc. they all are deepslate boxes but some decorated, to different type of boxes, forts should also look like towns except they will need walls and ofc some towers as usual

perfect example, town: St._Michael, its not unpeaceful, but if some walls are added, protection, ganks, cannons, it will be perfect fort

Forts are massive deepslate boxes because nobody wants to spend a day decorating a fort when it'll just be blown to smithereens anyway

Forts now regenerate. And I do agree with ijust but also ill be hypocritical if I do. Nishi is just a deepslate box. There is supposed to be a massive castle on the top which I would have built but irl stuff happened so I couldn't. I think it is alot of work to make a good fort that also looks good.
