Zeppelins are pathetic in CCNet. Plain and simple. A single fire charge can bring down the whole thing. Here are some changes I think should be added to zeppelins.
1. I think that, since the are aircraft, they should have the increased render distance that turrets have.
2. Make the number of bombs on a zeppelin a percentage instead of a fixed number. It is totally unbalanced that a teeny 1000 block hot air balloon can have the same amount of firepower as an L-30 Zeppelin. I think that the number of coal blocks allowed on zeppelins should be similar to the percentage of allowed coal blocks for torpedoes on corvettes and destroyers. This will allow zeppelins to be used strategically.
3. Zeppelins should have anti-aircraft for crying out loud. Even the smallest of blimps during the First World War would have machine guns on them. Now, the number of anti-aircraft guns allowed on zeppelins should, of course, be very limited, but they still should be able to have them so that they're not as defenseless and pathetic as they are now.
4. The whole reason that zeppelins were used during the First World War to bomb London was because they could rise to absurd altitudes very quickly, making them untouchable by ground anti-aircraft and enemy fighter planes. Zeppelins in this server should have the same ability.
Admins, just like my dreadnought post, these ideas are meant to be separate from each other so that only one could make zeppelins more interesting. I believe these changes are totally balanced due to the sheer fragility of Zeppelins, but their lack of military use in this server is... honestly rather disappointing.
