im tired of seeing nationless and newbie towns getting constatly sieged by 1 year playtime dudes

OR novices shouldn't be able to make they're town unpeacful because in 98% cases they make a town turn it unpeacful and leave the server forever. So just make that a thing

The current system already works. Faction points would just complicate the rules even further. A big nation could unvassalize and have a ex-vassal start the siege for them. Also, people will most definitely make new nations just to siege smaller ones, which is a way easier exploit than making an unpeaceful town. If anything, we should consider forts harder to make.

Regarding newbies; If small nations knew they can buy mob drops from other nations they wouldn't be forced to make unpeaceful towns, aside form that they know what they're signing up for.

We cant defend nationless towns carb, and usually cant recruit them either

cool idea in concept. i see this going south with many meme sieges, town kicking and other actions all to have less power than enemies to prevent a siege.

In my opinion it's a good thing overall giving newbie nations protection and fair competition, when a thing like nation power exists, or they shouldn't be allowed to make unpeaceful towns at a low rank.

I don't see how this is related to Factions except for the use of the word "power".

That said, this is easily bypassed. I can imagine large nations continually splitting into short-lived, small nations to abuse the fact that they would start with little power.

Im just so INCREDIBLY triggered by this,

do NOT turn your town non-peaceful if you are not ready to defend it.

what's the point? who are you trying to protect? some "newbies" who just decided to CREATE THEIR OWN NATION, like dude, are we serious at this point? i understand what you mean but when are we just gonna stop pretending that every man and his dog should make a nation, and no offense to new players, i do not think they are "lesser" than other people and shouldn't have right to make a nation, but when you think of it, what is a nation if nobody joins it? if "Nation" is gonna be a group of towns that are each a group of people then they might aswell choose to have an experienced player as a leader and not a newbie.

and if "Nation" is just gonna be some player's personal "belonging" , which is affordable even to Newbies, then yes, let them just get sieged and conquered, why should we be trying to add some mechanics to somehow by some workaround make anyone despite their abilities be able to lead a nation. While also making Actual nations with many players and an experienced leader completely unable to deal with them.

The problem is "small nations" or nationless unpeaceful towns are 95% of the time nations or towns that formed months prior and went fully inactive and dead and will auto-disband within a month or two anyway, which is why I assume people siege them regardless. Imo it would be wasteful not to and its not done for flexxing or whatever, just expanding nation bonus and resources and also get 100$ a day from legit people that have given up on the server already (xDDD its why ive sieged those really)

When it really is sad is when small ACTIVE nations with players present that get sieged. They're literally people trying to start up a nation but they get interrupted by a metagamer nation with pots and movecraft and whatever an entire alliance backing them up.

Theoretically you can argue what Nuxyr said, most newbies feel inclined to start nations and towns and its a big issue. They dont join existing ones and they just quit anyway within a month during which they thankfully cant be sieged either.

Another reason small nations get sieged for is because a lot of other nations that do that dont have the guts to siege real nations of their size due to the grind required to throw to have a full scale war in this server. You need hundreds of dubs of pots with a high cost on money and time aswell and several movecraft armadas for all types of crafts. Most nations that start medium sized nations sieges are either medium sized nations that are doing an improvized siege with scuffed preparation or just straight up big meganations that only 3-4 exist in this server that are heavily industrialized with plenty of grinding players.

While some might think this is unrelated, you could quite literally make a correlation graph of Nation Size and Sieges on Small Nation and you will see most nations that siege Small Nations are Small-Medium sized nations and not the Meganations, though sometimes they do aswell.
