Through my time playing on nations, there is only one key issue I have been seeing:
The lack of an economy outside of the ah
The /ah completely ruins having an economy between nations, since there is little to no effort put into travelling to the nearest capital and putting something on /ah.
It defeats the purpose of having cargo ships, (to move large amounts of things across oceans) and having player-made shops in towns.
Just today I saw someone attempting to have an economy between players with custom sf orders and delivery via the use of movecraft, but the idea was immediately thrown in the bin when someone brought up the use of /ah.
For a server somewhere set around the 1930s, I do not believe an 'Amazon Prime' type of feature should dominate the server economy. There should be a much greater encouragement to have player-made shops and to travel to them for location-dependent resources like sugarcane and cactus.
This could cause some people requiring travel long distance to these towns to buy stuff, therefore kicking off another way to make money through the use of movecraft transport services
This also creates a reason for people to be stay in towns instead of making one, because some town may have already large economy with many stores where people come to buy items at a premium price.
Although this suggestion doesn't do anything about townhopping, the idea of having an emphasis on playermade stores is still a valid one.
