just add up the amount of j/s that comes from each machine in the house your looking at. if u were to make a new machine to measure each line it would quickly be confusing with each branch in the line, and if u were to put on at the end near the houses it would be basically the same as just adding them up anyways (apologies if this isn't clear I'm not sure how to describe it )

It really is confusing what you said but tried everything and there is no way to do it besides filling up a battery for each house and leaving it there

All the slime fun machines have joules pers second as the amount of energy they take per second you can add that up for every machine and make your residents pay by that number

You really think i can handle counting every machine for 20+ residents and most of them would use it for like an hour or two then maybe stop one or start another i cant have an accurate count , this block would make stuff so much easier
