Basically, this is just something that I think would be neat/funny when a ship sinks.
1. Ships take much longer to sink, as rarely does a ship that IS fatally damaged sink in only a few seconds. This also means that sinking ships are a much more realistic hazard to other ships in the area, and could even make floating shields against incoming fire by clever pilots.
2. Ships, when sinking, will sometimes list (tilt) to one side as they sink.
3. Ships, when sinking, will sometimes completely roll over and capsize, taking even longer to sink.
4. Ships, when sinking, will sometimes explode (if this explosion damages nearby ships or only affects the sinking ship is up to staff), tearing the ship in half. This method means the ship sinks much faster in two independent pieces, meaning one can capsize and the other may not.
5. Ships, when sinking, will sometimes tilt forward or backwards when sinking.
