I think sieges need to be way more unforgiving for defenders but harder for attackers. An idea for this is to slightly buff the points defenders can get in conquest sieges by like 15% (not concrete number), but buff the points the occupiers get in revolt sieges by like 25% (not concrete number). Revolts are a joke and they're basically decided by whoever places the banner first, which is just a really stupid mechanic, and means 2 players in 2 minutes basically decide a whole siege. Suppression sieges shouldn't give this point buff tho. This is so the occupiers can decide whether they want a point buff or banner placement

This would make sieges way more dynamic and immediately revolting and getting unoccupied 2 weeks after losing a defensive siege is way less likely to happen. Other than some hurt egos for 2 weeks, sieges basically mean nothing other than pvp, which can get stale after doing the same thing every week

This idea doesnt deal with the concrete problem. It keeps the same scuffed mechanic and might instead kill revolt sieges with a frankly silly modifer.

In line with what you have said this is how I think revolts should function:
Upon suppression or revolt, the Occupied automatically have 1 hour to place banner...
When the banner is placed to suppress, the suppression begins but the banner disappears and re-appears where the leaders/co-leaders of the occupied nation presses.

To balance this, a rule should be added that banner placement must be adjacent to empty or enemy claims on 2 sides.
Banners cannot be adjacent on two sides to friendly towns. The banner may only have friendly claims on one side to it (excluding the fort). This still allows a defender advantage but prevents a lot of 'snake claim' siege bases or like at last Indore siege when the banner was placed in a position that was impossible to fight.

This pretty much solves the issue without needed a huge 25% buff.

It should also be illegal to place banner on the side of the fort opposite to the sb

if u think that's a better idea, then u should make a suggestion for it. i personally like my suggestion more, but i'm fine with yours as well. it's just kinda complicated

the 25% buff wasn't a real number and just a placeholder, same with the 15%. why is the modifier silly tho? what's wrong with making defensive sieges harder to win for attackers, but revolting if u do get occupied harder too? u kinda didn't say other than it's bad

Yeah no, revolts are cool. It is easy to win a siege but holding some place occupied? It is always harder irl as well. Then make the occupation revolt timer 1 month occupy anyone then sit around, whats the point in that?
