When I originally made the multiple pvp regions suggestions I always said there should be at least 1 or 2 regions that have a player cap, and the america region neb and I built was meant to be like a 10v10 or 15v15, but that never happened. Numbers wars are just not fun. It’s not fun when u outnumber or u get outnumbered, cuz there’s very little fighting and it’s just chase or get chased the whole time. Fights shouldn’t be decided before they even start, that’s not fun. It also feeds into the problem of only two sides with very little smaller conflicts between nations, cuz both sides need to pull as much ppl as possible to win the region
I feel like a player cap would be easy to implement and like coleaders of the attacking/defending nations can /assault join and then /assault invite or /assault remove until it reaches the max players. To prevent others from entering the zone maybe add a world guard border thingy around it, or give them siege sickness
Since it is a smaller region, it should give way less rewards so it’s balanced, and maybe not include it in theaters just so people don’t get mad abt this. This is isn’t taking ANYTHING away from current regions and is barely impacting anything other than making more fun stuff to do. Medium-small nations can’t do anything related to the regions without having to ally half the server. I remember in the past ppl argued against this saying it excludes less skilled players, but it’s not taking anything away from the current regions, and those regions would still be more important anyway. Not adding this just excludes small/medium nations tho so kinda the same argument :/
