trucks can go over 100 blocks per second with the addition of gears but trains are still stuck going 20. and according to the wiki trains can only be 5% chests and 1% hoppers but trucks can be 6% chests and 4% hoppers meaning that trains dont make up for their lack of speed with extra storage and in fact its actually the opposite. its also not easy dealing with rail blocks that limit a lot of mobility and can be tedious to craft whereas trucks can produce road blocks with igneous processors and pave a road using a truck with block placers. the only thing trains can do that do trucks cant is utilize /cargo but the time it takes to unload a truck by hand doesnt even out the 5x speed. im not trying to say that trucks are overpowered since they have their flaws but it would be nice to see trains get a buff too.

Trucks going over 100 blocks per second is not intended behaviour. You should open a bug report.

Its not 100 blocks per second but its still fast especially on blackstone roads (as intended). What I dont see the point of is trains why are people complaining about trains when they can opt to use a truck? Trains have nothing really going for them they are rather immobile outside of their specified infrasturcture (sort of how trucks are but making roads is more flexible than railways and they can go off road sometimes). Whats the obssession with people and trains really, I remember making a railway before and because trains couldnt go over water I opted to use trucks on the railway itself lol. I get trains can sound good but I always found them such a silly concept because railways in cities can cause problems for other movecraft unlike blackstone roads and they are stuck on railway tracks only on top of being just a special truck replacement

I dont mind buffing trains which is why Ill upvote as they feel meh but dont do anything at the cost of trucks
