Re Buff Canister Shots Back

Canistershots are pointless in the way that they are now, they deal next to 0 damage to players and are a joke of a shot.
Please make them balanced enough to not 1 shot someone but deal enough damage/knockback to become annoying.

Maybe even have them deal a "Wither" or "Bleeding" Effect.

Making them do something like Wither or the "bleeding" effect might actually be a good addition. Would def help with supplementing damage

I don't agree with the effects like Wither or Bleeding but I believe they need a buff. I was recently on the receiving end of consistent canister shots. I didn't move and I was maybe 20-25 blocks away. After 15 cannons shot me with canister shells, I was down 2.5 hp. They need a rebuff

flippin large caliber shotgun should actually do some damage.
Also what if there were different types of cshot?
