There are a lot of issues with turrets on tanks, most notably they tend to explode if your tank is too damaged because of the way the detection system works. However, doing this would require us to have a turret multiblock, which while cool would severely limit creativity. Unless you make it so only the gun rotates, which would leave holes in your turret so it could rotate in place. its a neat idea, but i dont think it works well with CCNet's version of movecraft (we dont gotta steal everything from HE lol)

i have a better idea, how bout special tank and heavy tank turret subcraft, which doesnt have concrete as allowed block on it, so the turret has to be out of terracotta, way more simple, though it wont probably get used often since design issues, but to this idea, i prefer the current system, we don't need everything automatic, manaully doing shit is more fun
