For the past couple of months there have not been any sieges. This isn't good as some players are starting to find the server boring, as most of the server is centered around sieges, and war, I believe the Complexity for preparing a siege is to blame, as same for some server mechanics.
In this suggestion I will explain the problems with preparing for sieges and some solutions I have.
1. Quantity, Estimation, and Diversity of Items, blocks, gear, etc.
When preparing for siege everyone takes a look at what is available and what they can do with it, most of the time players go with preparing massive amounts of Items, and every kind they'll need for Guns, vehicles, and Players.
This usually involves Hours upon hours of grinding, and sure maybe the first few times you can bear the grind, but over time the grind wears you out and you become sick of it. Because of this people heavily consider whether they'll actually even do a siege, most of the time this contemplating leads to a "no" to save their resources for a defensive siege that might never happen, because their enemies also consider the cost of a siege on them.
Not to mention that you also have to consider the transportation of thousands of potions, materials and stuff for vehicles like tanks. All of these items and blocks considered, it's like a never-ending grind, and with no guarantee of winning, no one wants to take the risk of losing all their hard-earned materials, that's what keeps anyone from going to war on here.
(Ideas)
1-Remove a lot of the ammunition you need to craft for sieges, limit craft able ammunition to Artillery and Ships, and allow cannons on small vehicles such as Tanks, Heavy tanks, Planes, IFV's, Tank MG's, and Fighter Guns to fire with ought need for ammunition.
2-For limiting Idea #1 so it isn't abusive, Give the vehicles listed about a set "number of Rounds" they can fire after those rounds are expended/used, the vehicle will have to be resupplied either by Driving 3-5 blocks next to a truck, or driving back into friendly claims where they will be forced to wait some time to reload. Driving next to the truck should be slower for reloading.
3-Create a "Potion Brewing machine" that would be a multi-block structure that would create potions for pvper's really quickly and even have an option for packaging them into 1 time use shulkers, these shulkers can be right-clicked to receive 27 of any potions you want from the potion brewing machine, however it'll require Coal/Charcoal blocks to Run in exchange for potions.
4-Create an "Universal Easy Item loading" System, where you can transfer items from a large storage Room into a Ship, Zeppelin, Train, or Truck, simply by piloting a nearby ship, and selecting the wears from the storage room you want in your ship. This allows nations to create big "Siege Wear Houses" So they can transfer their stuff to sieges much easier.
5-Reduce the $$ Required to siege a town if the nation who owns said town only has 1 Unpeaceful town. This should encourage making more unpeaceful towns.
