soulbound not working for combat logging doesn't make any sense at all. what's the point of soulbound if the one type of death that is COMPLETELTY out of your control isn't covered. i don't think many players are going into a fight with an unstable connection on purpose, and it usually goes down during the fight, or their pc just crashes (coming from a player who used to crash a lot in sieges). that's like having health insurance, but it doesn't insure cancer because you decided to go out in the sun without sunscreen, so you're being punished. the player is already getting punished for dying by losing everything else, so why punish for this more than a normal death? a normal death was an actual skill factor, combat logging is just luck most of the time. i know i won't ever use a binding weapon again because i can't trust my internet to not go randomly down or my pc to not crash, which happens to everyone. binding should work for all types of death, especially the ones that are not controlled by the player, just like it did in the past before the npc combat log change. i'd much rather have the old combat log system without the npc, if it guarantees that binding works because named swords are by far more important than any other item
