I don’t like having to only kill one player. If a siege region lasts 20-30 minutes, then no one will be able to survive that long, and they will have to go repot which means they have to leave the region. Whoever started the siege will probably not be able to actually fight and they will just run the whole time, which isn’t fun.
Instead of that system, it should be smth like the gamemode on /server pvp. For those who don’t know, it is basically a KOTH. There are 4 different 3x3 flag areas that players have to stand in to capture, and each flag u own gives points every couple seconds. These flags only take like 20 seconds to capture. The side with the most points wins. So it’s kinda like a miniature town siege banner. this will be great for short battles like this, and it allows players to go repot quickly and come back. I can see way more strategy with this type of gamemode than just target one player. You will have to decide when is the best time to repot, which flags you should capture, how to split up ur players.
With the system you suggested, the player that started the siege just won’t have fun because being hard targeted sucks and everything relies on you, so no one will want to be the person to start it. And the players that have to help defend the player that started the siege probably won’t have fun since they don’t have a big impact and the pressure is all on the main attacker. Basically u can’t go do fun and risky plays as any attacker. This system is not too bad with movecraft because of the way ship combat works, but for pot pvp that isn’t good

well it is actually good idea of urs, but u wont have to run for 1 person, strategy will be to kill his allies, and then get this person, or the person will have to leave zone since he will be outnumbered, plus there are guns, he can get shot down by them or drained, besides, ground sieges will be a lot, so i dont think it should be 30 min long, and about repotting for person who is sieging, allies will assist them. its kinda similar to Sahara siege region but instead of tanks there are pvpers

we should test both variants in real fight on nations, both flag variant and one man sieging variant. when these regions gets added, no truce will be boring, and it will be so much fun

Honestly, I agree with Turtle, but the trouble is that writing a KOTH style system will take time whereas PvP regions that use the naval siege system have already been finished. So it boils down to whether you can tolerate PvP regions in the naval siege style to begin with, or whether you think their release should be delayed until a KOTH-like system is made.

Lol turtle and I came up with this idea 6 months ago. Anyways, I like this plan but I would recommend adding a crucial part that we first came up with: having a swords-only and guns-only region as well.

since its region, both guns and swords should be avilable, plus u got limited players each siege, so u cant spam gun spammers, it will be bad for you. cause mostly gun spammers arent good at pvp. and u will fail that 10v10 or whatever it will be
