list of brick-ish blocks that could be used on forts to make them look better. all of these blocks are harder to obtain than stonebrick/deepslate, so no balance issues if they're given 6 block hp afaik

- mud bricks
- prismarine blocks
- nether bricks/red nether bricks
- purpur blocks
- end stone bricks

i think everyone wants forts to look better, and increasing the block pallet is the best way to do that. if anyone has other block ideas, then please comment them :)

yeah nether bricks are harder to get than deepslate. 1 nether brick requires 4 netherrack and u have to smelt that. deepslate is more abundant than netherrack because u have to find the right biome for netherrack and there is usually lava everywhere. deepslate is also easily obtainable with igneous processors

Molten pickaxe makes that alot easier (however would be a good use for molten pickaxes)
