Saying "X should have printed more tanks" misses the point:
- The side with more fielded crafts (i.e. more people) will generally win a Movecraft engagement.
- Unless you win a Movecraft engagement, there is very little you can do about people capping inside a vehicle.
It's a low-risk, high-reward strategy which also excludes a role for infantry. This is poor game design.

the only way to do this is to put heavies and ifvs on banner and have like 1 person capping at a time and switch out every time someone caps. we cant put more then 1 capper at a time because they will delete our movecrafters if they arent in movecraft.

so 1 player at a time every 7 minutes thats if an enemy DOESNT get on banner and take reversal.

EPF is a mercenary group for PVP they log onto ccnet purely for PvP, that is not beneficial to the server.

NC has mentioned multiple times they don't care for diplomacy and are in it purely for the PvP.

These are not nations that improve the community or recruit alot of people and bring positive impacts to the server, at least as much as other nations.

I can confirm, a lot of people here are here because they do not want to be on a sweaty vanilla pvp server, we should pull ccnet far as possible from it. Strong guns, strong movecraft, weak swords. Make Skill something you must gain from the server, not external training.

It is very easy to advertise a WW2 server, not easy to advertise a weird mix of swords guns tanks and planes. Just go full ham one way rather than trying to appease a bunch of PVPers as ali said only care about the sword pvp on the server as they are probably too bad to dominate on any kind of factions server.

Best thing about movecraft is the skill cap, you can only ever get so good there is no extreme movecrafters. If everyone learnt movecraft it would be fairer then some people who PvP for a year vs a clan of pvpers who PvP for years and in tournaments

I don't like to see movecraft being nerfed, I think they are the thing this server advertises and alongside guns the one thing that the server drew me in with, I didnt go to sieges before because no one mass used movecraft and guns were useless a while ago, I dont want to have to learn how to use swords because I just don't like them and thats the reason I dont play the vanilla servers, Im not here for that

I went to sieges for some time in Japan when guns became almost ok, and that was fun enough, though sometime afterwards I went inactive in general for some time before coming back

How are you going to stop pvpers on the banner? Doesnt IFV deal good damage and a large af AoE radius? Meaning you can just spray them to hell and regardless of how good of a pvper they are surviving 7 minutes on a banner will be hard and they will use up quite the number of healing. You can just wait out few minutes for them to spend some healing and then push forwards with people giving you the advantage of health (potions) which regardless of their skill you should be able to win even if you take quite a bit more damage due to the skill difference.

There are also other ways. Defenders can use field guns with canisters to also lower the enemy health and potions while attackers can use howitzers with shrapnel or even field guns themselves. Attackers have a lil bit harder time to use anti infantry vehicles since it requires them to first disable fort cannons but thats one of the advantages of defenders I guess.

Gaining movecraft superiority in a siege should give you an advantage not a complete win. It will basically give you an ability to use a craft that deals free damage to enemies which will make the other side weaker allowing you to have better chances against people who have higher skill (the advantages balance out)

Not to mention when keep inventory was added people were complaining but later turned out fine after some time and even turned out a bit better. Same could happen here after some time

movecraft was still great and very useful before people started doing this, so why would that change? also, it's not like ifvs can't protect players capping. not every single player needs to be on banner in order to cap. some can be near banner on tanks and ifvs to protect the players capping. as long as one side has ifvs, the other side is required to use tanks to counter it, otherwise their pvpers are still useless. that means movecraft is still a requirement, but pvpers can actually do something once their movecraft has pushed banner. nations that use both pvp and movecraft will benefit from this, but nations that want to purely use movecraft can still win if they have more movecraft than the enemy. a nation that purely uses pvp still can't win with this change, unless the other side doesn't use movecraft to defend themselves

Technically they can, though you kind of have to suck up that IFV damage so if they are quick drops you might be able to just storm the place and kill em or push em off then go back. Though fully capping the banner might be harder without movecraft or without cover. Resistance potion tier 2 lasts like 20 seconds so if you drink one or two of those you might be able to do an aggressive short push

aliitsme stop dodging the one point that destroys your entire argument. movecraft will still kill pvpers. ifvs are extremely powerful and they at least prevent pvpers from capping banner, and usually will prevent pvpers from rushing banner too. especially when combined with banner defenses and guns. so you can still cap banner while safe from pvp

i do agree that movecraft has a much lower skill cap than pvp, but that doesn't make it fun for some players. that makes it very unengaging for a lot of players. i don't like fights that are decided by who spent more time mindlessly grinding for weeks for just a few hours of fun. gamemodes that are based on skill are much better than gamemodes based on who spent more time preparing for something. i like the thrill of the moment more than the long and tedious grind to it. i do agree that prep time is necessary, but it should be the least important aspect in sieges, not the most. it's not fun to grind for a lot of people, so it shouldn't be the focal point to winning sieges. the point of the game is to have fun :<

The risk of capping with movecraft if enemy uses movecraft aswell is very high and its why sieges in ccnet have tanks and infantry same time so the server works for both preferences. Making one class of people not being able to cap banner without getting off their thing is retarded, as now the most experienced movecrafter cant cap against absolute barbarians with stick from import server 1 and 2.

Now talking about the risk I can name 10000 examples how risky capping on movecraft is. One of them is when WitherV sunk a tank in Livland and the tank collapsed and killed like 10 ppl and granted 20k points. Thats an example of what happens when both sides use movecraft. One side clearly sucks at movecraft and doesnt know how to deal with it, recorded 5 videos that are very pointless copium and somehow got this change which is avoided for years implemented

games need to change and balance as new metas are found. capping in an ifv has always been a feature, but people didn't abuse it to the extreme like the new meta. people will find ways to win in competitive gamemodes, even if they ruin the fun for themselves and others. take weakness for example. like every pvper agrees that weakness makes combat very unfun. the ones that were against nerfing weakness were only against it because they were good at abusing it. it's silly to think movecraft, a very custom feature on ccnet, is perfect. even right now movecraft isn't perfect. there are flaws that people know about, and there are flaws that people won't find until more time passes. games break and need to update

Preparing for a siege requires brewing pots building a base, building cannons, movecraft,making shells, making guns and ammo, making sets and swords, gathering the people to collectively be online because the enemy outnumbers.

cannons put u in combat, so not really possible as a pvper. even if u are behind a wall it'll stull put u in combat.

Regardless of that i do see nordics online quite often and they have a better decorated town than most of the server



Yall keep going in circles at this point. If you wanna go full movecraft there are movecraft regions. If you wanna go full pvp then wait for pvp regions to be added. A mix of both is normal town sieges. All you people are doing is trying to destroy eachothers arguments instead of finding a middleground for both sides to be used. IFV and Tank machinegun can deal damage to players. Given the nerf in capping they should most likely not do friendly fire now. Those vehicles are immune from infantry and they deal free damage to them giving you an advantage, not instant win. There are also guns which when used correctly can also give you an advantage, not instant win. You will still need some form of a frontline so the less skilled people dont die and can deal lots of damage from a safe spot. This should be the balance that we should strive for.

More skilled people will always win wars, thats how its meant to happen. However the "skill" is not just 1v1 duels on practice pvp alone. The server is not a standard 1v1 potpvp setting it involves other factors which can be done without 1 million hours of practice. Asking to nerf all skill caps and go full movecraft cause everyone can do it is just like asking the war to be settled via turn based combat with numbers so that physically you can not lose regardless of how much you mess up and not be able to win when outnumbered regardless of how good you are.

Overall the game should be balanced between all fighting style and focus on people having teamwork between roles, not saying that the ones my side uses should be superior and only one important. Each role should have its benefits and downsides. Movecraft had too many benefits without much downsides. And no point loss of the movecraft is not a downside, its proportional to how much the craft is useful. If it contributes more than 2x the infantry users, its a given it will lose 400 points and as long as you are sinking enemy more than you are sunk you can continue to use full movecraft all the way

None if my arguments can be used in reverse, I fight in sieges multiple years now, Im well aware ever since canister nerf movecraft barely ever kills any players. I also know how to deal with IFV on foot, I usually just walk around it and ignore it. Movecraft is negligble vs players unless your opponents are very stupid and play living statue man. In reality you can just box the banner like early n2 and replace blocks. The time breaking them is more than time placing so movecraft can be fully obsolete unlike pvper. Everything spammed en masse can do damage, everything done individually is bad except from sword. Simple as. Idk how ppl keep using the same arguments on guns and movecraft without understanding the basic principle of many number = high contribution. 10 sword user isnt as strong as 1 sword user, same way 1 IFV is ass compaded to 90 IFV spam (which can be countered by just 1 heavy tank)
