I've been told by multiple miners that they burn their redstone because they deem it worthless. I wonder if this is a problem of potential redstone suppliers not knowing about demand, or the people demanding redstone not knowing about potential suppliers.

Redstone is extremely easy to get when mining, one can get an inventory of blocks in an hour or two

Not everyone likes mining, especially in places like Europe where, you'll run into 999999 claims every 3 chunks

The sheer amount of redstone you need for movecraft specifically ships and zeppelins is ridiculous you need a very good amount of redstone if you want to get ships for a naval siege xd

You need dubs of Redstone for constructing Fleets and like Naval Siege Regions are worthless when u consider the resource and manpower they require. Concrete and Terra are producable, why cant Redstone be? Not everyone likes mining and thats a given considering how mining in depleted regions even feels like. If Redstone can be produced a home with Electricity then Im pretty confident that ships would be more accessible in large scales thus making Naval Siege Regions not so useless to contest anymore

Or even create a Redstone market the same way people produce Charcoal at home and sell it(its one of the most profitable markets)

Redstone is thrown away when mining due to it not being worth anything in quantities that you can store in your inventory, and even if you filled your inventory and enderchest with redstone blocks it would take far too long and you would have to ONLY mine redstone for hours. Along with that selling it just isn't worth it as any price where mining for hours would be far too high for most people interested in actually buying the redstone,
