this is going to be a repost of a suggestion i made over 4 months ago. it got a lot of support back then, including zaify saying he liked the idea, so just want to bring it back up because i think it's even more so the case now because nothing new has happened to sieges in a long long time. sieges are just the same thing over and over again and there is no politics either so i'd like smth new :/
on n1, invis pots were genuinely my favorite pot, and i thought they added something unique to fights. imo it's more fun when u have no idea who u are fighting, and the enemy doesn't know who u are either
i think that invis should obviously make the player invis on map, but still keep the compass how it is. the compass can be unreliable sometimes when u switch to food to eat, so when doing a complete stealth attack it can really screw it up. invis would be more expensive and take up more space in your inventory since u need to carry multiple pots because it doesn't last forever, but it's a much more reliable option. so it'd be something that u wouldn't use all the time, but every so often when u need complete stealth
another thing that i think would be really cool is if it stopped the player from showing up on /near. i've seen people complain abt /near, and i think this is a great nerf while making it still viable. this would add to the complete stealth attacks talked about earlier since the enemies have no way to know who or how many players are near, if any at all. most sieges have players spamming /near on both sides so it's impossible to do a stealth attack. /near spam is kinda lame and makes ambushes impossible so fights are pretty boring and 1 dimensional. i like the guerilla warfare aspect of sieges instead of the same fight just at a different biome
invis would definitely add some fun and unique variety to sieges and fights, which have gotten really stale lately as the meta has stayed the same for almost a year now. it also isn't that op, and a compass would still be used way more often because invis takes up precious inventory space. i don't see any downsides to this at all, but if u do, then please comment abt it. last time i suggested this, the few people that downvoted just wrote "no." or "no please" and that is it, so actually give a reason for downvoting please ;-;
